Heartland USA offers seven distinct ad sizes based on standardized dimensions. Ads are displayed on a randomized rotation schedule throughout the site. Exclusive sponsorship of a specific content area of Heartland USA is an extra-cost option. Check with your Heartland USA advertising representative for availability.
Rich Media Content
Rich media file sizes are listed above. Audio is permitted only as “user initiated.” The audio file must be included as part of the total file size. Please Note: Rich media files must also be “hard coded” with the appropriate URL to your Web site before they can be placed into rotation. Without thhe URL embedded in your rich media file, the ad will not link properly to your web address.
The Heartland USA Web site does not accept animated GIF formats.
Popups, Overs and Unders
Heartland USA does not accept popup, pop under, over or page transition advertising of any kind. Any interactivity within rich media advertiising must also be user initiated and contain no opt-out controls. In fact, controls of any nature are strictly prohibited by Heartland USA.
Advertising Space
All advertising space is sold and priced as digital-ready. Any changes and/or production work beyond placement of the ad into random rotation will incur additional charges.
Evolving
Due to the evolving nature of the Web and the Heartland USA site, ad space and requirements may change without notice. Heartland USA reserves the right to add, delete or change specifications in the best interest of the company, readers and/or advertisers. Heartland USA is open to the needs of advertisers, and every effort will be made to tailor advertising programs to those needs.
